Singin – Door Prizes needed

If you can, man or lady, Sis. Jane Davenport came up with a great idea for door prizes for this coming Friday night singin.  She and her daughter Becky, who make the worlds greatest fudge, came up with this idea. Everyone bring a home-baked goodie to give away a couple, and then we will sell the rest. They will give away some fudge, whet appetites, and then get everyone to buy the rest. Wow! If you did not taste Becky’s fudge, coming Friday night will be worth it just to try some. SOOOOOO, bring something and someone Friday night.

We appreciate your donations! Those of you who let us wash your cars and trucks have once again shown your support for the programs that our youth and kids are involved in.  I hope that you will continue to support us finanically as well as prayerfully!  You may not think about it, but I beleive that there are special Blessings from God when we support his little ones!  All of these donations will go directly towards our VBS (Aug. 4th – 8th) and back to school projects.  I also want to thank those of you who have assisted us finanically in these projects, but wish to remain unknown.  God see’s your good works and your Heavenly rewards will be waiting  (It’s in the Bible……you can look it up!!).   I want to encourage each of you to be in prayer for our VBS next week.  Lynda and I do not need money for any other reason except that it is a means to an end.  One soul in Heaven will have been worth all the effort.  Remember to look at these kids through the eyes of Jesus.  They are his creation, just like you and I.  We could be the last hope for some of the least of these.

Back to School********School Supplies

Second annual Back-to-School Supplies drive has begun. Last year our church provided 100 children with school supplies. Providing these supplies takes a tremendous burden off many families and allows the children to start off the school year on the right foot. We want to give to even more children this year. We are requesting your help. You can participate in the Back-to-School Supplies by a) praying for God to provide school supplies for children in our community, b) donating school supplies (lot’s of bargains at Office Depot, Target, Walgreens, Walmart), or c) by giving a monetary donation. Thank you for your continued support and demonstrating God’s love for all the children in our church and community.

 

 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School, August 4-8, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., grades K-7.  We are asking everyone to pray for God’s plan to be fulfilled for VBS, for children in the community to attend VBS, that our church effectively communicate God’s love and gospel to the children so many will accept Jesus, and for all needs to be supplied. We will be having a CAR WASH this Sunday, July 27 a.m. service to assist with the cost of VBS. Thank you church members for your support and prayers for the children in our church and in the community.

Singin’ This Friday Night

It’s that time again.  Our Singin’ is this coming Friday evening from 7 pm – 10 pm.

We have some new guest singers that will bless your socks off.

We will have some door prizes and a special homeade cake by our own Jane Davenport that we

 will raffle off.
