The Singin’ at Cathedral of Praise will be held on Friday October 17th from 7-10pm. Please copy the flyer and post it where others may see it. 

Hi everyone,

I am working right now on the streets of Pasadena for my 13th straight day.

Praise the Lord that He has kept us through the storm.

We will have a morning service at 11am, but dismiss for the evening due to many folk still without power.

We do have power at the Church and make it available for refuge to any of our members in need.

Greetings to my brothers and sisters at Cathedral of Praise,

I am currently testing the newest version of the WordPress software that makes this site work. I have found several modules that conflict and some that I have not been able to test as they are unique to your site. At the moment, I am in no rush to break things, I am starting small by just upgrading the plugins section. There is a chance that a newer version may be released by the time I finish testing 2.6.1 (2.7). In any case, I will let you know when this happens. Most of the patches and upgrades fix security issues and other things that do not really impact the things that you see or do. There may be some increased relability and new functions that appear. I am still looking for a method that allows you to easily post pictures onto your posts along with a few other items. be blessed, Donny

If you did not attend VBS and get your school supplies, make sure and get your school supplies in Children’s Church today (Sunday).  The remaining school supplies will be delivered to children in the community. This is a great time to bless the children at our church and in the community. Thanks to everyone that participated in this year’s school supply drive.

If you can, man or lady, Sis. Jane Davenport came up with a great idea for door prizes for this coming Friday night singin.  She and her daughter Becky, who make the worlds greatest fudge, came up with this idea. Everyone bring a home-baked goodie to give away a couple, and then we will sell the rest. They will give away some fudge, whet appetites, and then get everyone to buy the rest. Wow! If you did not taste Becky’s fudge, coming Friday night will be worth it just to try some. SOOOOOO, bring something and someone Friday night.
